5. What I Did Not Like
While the paper presents an innovative approach, some aspects of the methodology could be explained more clearly. For example, the details of the gradient-based blending operators and their parameterization feel somewhat dense and could benefit from more intuitive visualizations or real-world analogies. Additionally, the method, while efficient, still introduces some computational overhead compared to simpler techniques like LBS, which might be a concern for real-time applications with strict performance budgets. A more detailed discussion on the trade-off between accuracy and performance in different scenarios would have been helpful.

- How does the proposed method compare to physics-based skinning in terms of realism? While it is computationally cheaper, are there specific types of deformation where a physics-based approach would still be preferable?
