Using the Docker Container

Hello everyone,

The handout for HW0 is available from the course website:

This is a highly straightforward assignment -- its goal is for you to get familiar with the Docker container and the submission process, and for us to iron out any bugs with the container and the course infrastructure. If something does not work, please look for a solution here on Ed Discussion, or post a detailed description of the problem you experience in case no solution exists, so that we can look into it.

The assignment is due on next Tuesday, January 20 at 10pm ET, to allow us to iron out all potential issues. The assignment is trivial and shouldn't take you much time at all, but we ask that you begin earlier so that we can sort out potential problems as soon as possible.

Note: Please try not to use your jokers for this assignment. Also, note that we only award extra jokers for early submissions for the 'real' programming assignments, not HW0.
